Shark Attack Mitigation System (SAMS) technology has been incorporated into the suit to reduce the risk of shark attack. *
SAMS enlisted the help of a team of renowned researchers to conduct in-depth research aimed at better understanding the vision of sharks underwater. Specialized molecular biology techniques have been used to study the genes responsible for encoding retinal pigments located in the eyes of certain species of large sharks. Using the results of this research, SAMS was able to develop a well-structured set of models designed not to be distinguished or likened to prey by a shark. The scientific data resulting from this study made it possible to determine the optimal width and spacing of the bands to maximize the deterrent effect.
